My Travel Makeup

Look at this stuff, isn't it neat? wouldn't you think my collection's complete?. To some this could be a ridiculous amount of makeup to bring on holidays. However to anyone who knows me personally I love to paint on my face. Most people would bring one lipstick, some mascara and eyeliner. Myself on the other hand feels that it is necessary to bring every lip colour and every damn brush in my collection. My makeup junkies can understand the struggle *can I get an amen?*. Let's get on to the products, shall we?

 Face products

Ben Nye Banana Powder : This little beauty of a powder makes my under-eye look bright and beautiful. You can't tell that I've only had two hours sleep *haha no*. In all seriousness this powder used to be so hyped about. When I first bought it, I honestly had no clue if it was even working but with practice and some Youtube tutorials *by George she's got it!*. Banana powder gives your concealer that extra push to make your face look more brighter and awake. Downside is that this powder isn't for everyone but Ben Nye makes an array of shades of these Luxury Powders for my darker girls and my pale girls. *no person gets left behind*. This powder is an essential to tired travellers who need to fake a fresh face.
Rimmel Stay Matte & MAC Select Cover Up : In my May Favourites you already know why I praise MAC Select Cover Up. A light concealer under a wall of face powder doesn't make my face feel so heavy. However on the foundation side of things, I own a lot of foundation *definitely unnecessary* but as a makeup enthusiast I love trying out different foundations and seeing what works for me and what doesn't. Rimmel Stay Matte was one of these experimental foundations and honestly it is now my essential foundation to travel with. This foundation covers every little imperfection on my face. Blended out with a beauty blender. flawless. This is definitely a foundation for my oily/combination skin people. A little definitely goes a long way with this and it's affordable too, *what more could you want*
Urban Decay Naked Skin Pressed Powder : This isn't pictured above *sorry, I left it in my purse and was lazy to take it out okay?* This powder is finely milled and it feels silky on the face. However I don't powder this on after applying my foundation *you'll see why in a minute* but this powder is great to re-touch your makeup throughout the day. It takes away the shine without applying more pigmentation onto the skin. An essential to the person who spends hours walking around lost in a foreign country and looks frazzled near the end of the day.

Lancome Highlight Powder : I grabbed this little beauty on sale for twenty euro *the day the lord's had graced me* This is my go-to highlight shade when I feel the need to give my tired face an extra boost. When the sun catches your face while you're relaxing in the beach or just relaxing in general. *gurrrrrrrrrl* you will look glowy, beautiful and all the wondrous things in the world. Definitely an essential.
MAC Rocky Horror Picture Show Shape and Sculpt Powder : This is basically my contour and highlight kit. I usually like to go for a deep contour but when I'm on holidays it's better to go subtle. I love the shade of the contour because it's not warm toned. *like most deep shades in a contour powder* This is a great neutral colour that makes your contour look more natural and not like mud.
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish : This is in the shade Medium Deep. I love using this powder to bronze my face. I tend to get darker when I go on holidays and this helps colour match my foundation better when I do. This needs to be used with a light hand, too much can make you look like an orange Cheeto. Bronzed and Luminous is what I try and achieve when I'm on holiday.

Hourglass Ambient Light Blush Palette :  Can we just take a minute to appreciate the presentation of these blushes. The marbled pattern makes this appealing to the eye. I bring this beauty everywhere with me. It has your essential blush shades, a plum, a peachy/pink and a brighter pink. What makes these blushes even better? Is that they're mixed in with subtle highlight shades. Giving you that extra glow. *can you tell I'm obsessed with all that glow?* The amount of powder I'm putting on my face definitely doesn't need to be set with a face powder. Some people may think Oh June you're wearing too much makeup, no need for it. 1. I will wear as much makeup as I like. It makes me feel ready for the day. 2. If I have all this makeup why the hell not would I wear it. *realises she got off topic*

Eye Products
Lancome Hypnose Mascara : I find travel sizes of mascaras you get in gift sets is the perfect opportunity to try out new brands and formulas. This particular mascara has worked like a dream. I have small Asian eyelashes but luckily they don't point down like most people. Firstly I thought that the formula was too thick and clumpy. However this does an amazing job in lifting my lashes and making them look really full *five stars for faux falsies*
Rimmel Glam Eyes Liquid Eyeliner : This baby gives me the precise clean winged line. *just look at that brush* This is a really deep black, it stays on forever and I shall never depart with it. It's cheap too, so I recommend you pick it up *wink wink*
For my eyebrows, you guys already know why I bring my Dip Brow Pomade with me. *if not I suggest you check out my May Favourites*
Urban Decay Pulp Fiction Palette (Limited Edition) : Sorry it's not pictured above but laaaaadiiiieeeees! This eye shadow palette is my holy grail. This palette contains your essential neutral shades. I love wearing a neutral eye when I need to get out of the door really quick. However what I love most about this palette is that it mostly consist of matte shades (perfect for the day time). A great small palette for a great small person *haha noo..*

Well that's all for my post my dears, as for what lip products I use, I carry about 5 different shades of my Jeffree Star Liquid Lipsticks (if you want to find out why I love them, check out my May favourites *wink*). I'll also be posting the rest of my Berlin Adventures once I'm back in Dublin *I swear it'll be worth the wait*.
