DAY 1 AND 2 (FITNESS JOURNEY)

Hiiiieeeeee my dears,
I'm procrastinating from my studies and bringing you a dairy entry of the past 2 days of my fitness journey.

JUNE 6TH.
On this day I didn't do so well on the diet part of things, however I did get myself up from studying and completed the first day of the blogilates challenge. My legs and my bum are aching today. Beauty is pain. I can see the huge difference in my energy levels from when I used to workout constantly. This is only making me determined to get myself up and reach my goal.

JUNE 7TH.
Today I was really good on the diet side of things. For breakfast I had an omelette which contained only egg whites, Quorn chicken pieces, half a tomato and one spring onion. This was so delicious and I really didn't have high hopes for the egg whites, usually the yolk is the best part. (I was proven wrong). I never used to eat breakfast in the mornings but I'm slowly trying to fit it into my routine. For lunch, I went out with my family to this small Asian restaurant in Tallaght called "Wok to Walk" (living for the name and the staff are so nice). Basically you can choose what base you would like for your meal e.g. egg noodles, rice etc. I chose the whole grain rice with tofu, mixed vegetables, shiitake mushrooms all mixed in a  coconut curry sauce. This meal was super delish. They give you the right amount to make you full. I couldn't eat all of mine because the portion was so large. (side note: when going out for meals that aren't so great for you remember your body gives you the signal when it's had enough, its your choice to either stop eating and avoid the bloated feeling or continue enjoying that meal). When I arrived home my mother made some pandan/coconut smoothie, so high in sugar so I could withstand a certain amount. For dinner I had the remaining of my rice dish. I "studied" for the remainder of the day but to get my energy levels up I completed the 2nd day of the blogilates challenge. Today's workout was definitely a challenge for me, especially the "Extreme Muffintop Crushing WO". I have really weak arm strength and struggle to pull my own body weight up and down. Hopefully as I continue on with this I'll be able to (wahaha).

To conclude the day I'm pretty happy with my progress, a huge change from Day 1 anyways. Hopefully I can stick to this and be able to cross the finish line. I'll update you soon! Good luck to my Leaving Cert peeps who are reading this instead of studying!
