Hiiiieeeeee darlings! This has been long awaited and I am now bringing you my favourites for the month of June *month of me haha*. In all honesty the month of June has been very eventful. I finished my Leaving Cert and I travelled to Germany*quite the lucky duck I was*. Makeup wise I didn't try out a lot of new products but instead discovered some golden oldies that were lying around in my stash. Reflecting back on the month of June I realised, I mainly focused on skincare and accessories *which you will be seeing in this post *wink wink*. Before I go into a constant chat with myself on this post I might as well get started on my favourites!

1st Favourite

Kiehl's Ultra Light Daily UV Defence SPF 50 PA+++ - To put into simpler words of this long winded product name it is basically sunscreen, specifically for your face. Some of you might be thinking *girrrrrrrl that has a big price tag just for sunscreen*. Personally for me it is worth the price tag, I get very cautious of my skin when the summer hits because I have sensitive skin. My daily skincare routine consists of Kiehl's products because my skin had suffered from eczema *it was a really bad time*. Out of all the products I use on my face, this is my favourite. It's very important to wear sunscreen, especially when the sun is shining like no tomorrow. I tend to see a lot of girls who paint on a lot of makeup and throughout the day it becomes cakey and dry *just a big ol' hot mess*. Just adding that extra step in putting sunscreen under your makeup can definitely help prevent premature ageing skin and even more serious skin cancer! So ladies and gents SPF IT UP!

2nd Favourite

Simple Oil Balancing Moisturiser - From my above product you already know I use Kiehl's for my face. However that skincare routine tends to be too "heavy feeling" if I'm wearing minimal makeup for the day. Simple by far is the best skincare line for me, especially the Clear Skin range. I love how lightweight this moisturiser feels on my skin. It doesn't feel so greasy *a big A plus for me*. Another great thing about Simple is that they care for sensitive skin, my skin doesn't feel as if it's burning off. I've been really satisfied with this product this month because it has helped keep my pimples under control. *the dreaded face demons*. This however doesn't get rid of pimples *just saying* but minimises redness and how long they last on my face. For the souls who suffer from sensitive skin or just looking to try new skincare I definitely recommend looking at Simple.

3rd Favourite

Urban Decay Eyeshadow in "Sin" - Some of you might be wondering, *why does she only like one eyeshadow for the month?*. The answer? This particular shade gives my eyelids LIFE. Throughout the whole month of June I decided my skin just needed a break from makeup. *hence the mention of skincare products*. I've been wearing minimal makeup to no makeup at all. This shade is a cult favourite as I've been told and I can definitely see why. This shade gives a luminous sheen to the eye,  makes you look more awake. This paired with some black eyeliner and mascara and you're ready to get out the door. It's a shimmery pink champagne colour which I adore and for my light skinned souls, this can double as a highlighter on the cheeks *wink wink*. Urban Decay never fails to impress me when it comes to quality, as you can see by the pigmentation in the swatch.

4th Favourite

Naked Skin Ultra Definition Powder in "Medium Warm" - This powder has travelled with me everywhere in the month of June. This is a new-ish product from Urban Decay and I don't understand why no one is making a shrine for this beauty. This is honestly the best powder I've ever used because  of the "feel" it has on my skin. The powder feels very soft and satiny and it's very finely milled. I use this to touch up my makeup throughout the day. I've used this product as a foundation on its own and it gives me the light coverage I need without looking cakey. The packaging of this powder really won me over. *so slick and chic*. I use Mac's Studio Fix Powder religiously but this won me over for the whole month of June. Good job Urban Decay!

5th Favourite

Nars Illuminator in "Orgasm" - I'm guessing every makeup junkie has heard about "strobing" right? For those who haven't it's basically the "new" contouring. Instead of contouring shadows you're highlighting areas where the light hits, giving the illusion of a contoured face. So instead of splurging on a new illuminator to try out this technique I looked through my drawers and found this beauty. "Orgasm" blush by Nars is a favourite for all. It goes great with every skin tone without a doubt. This illuminator is similar to the blush its a peachy pink shade with gold undertones. I was hesitant to try this because of the peachy pink colour but girl this shade is GORGEOUS. The peachy pink is very subtle on the skin and the highlight is just right *doesn't make you look like you're oily*. I definitely ditched the bronzer and the contouring for this month and stuck with this baby. It gives a very youthful glow to the face *and who doesn't want to look youthful am I right?* Stay tuned to my blog because I'll be taking on "strobing" and sharing my thoughts on it *wink wink*

6th Favourite

Beauty Blender - This is god's gift to the beauty world. This is an all-time holy grail for me. I use to use stippling brushes religiously to apply my foundation. However I wasn't always pleased with the way it applied my makeup. When the Beauty Blender came around my prayers had been answered. This blends my makeup flawlessly. My skin doesn't feel heavy or caked. The price tag on these babies aren't the best but if you're looking for an alternative try out the Real Techniques Beauty Sponge. It does the same job and it's beautiful too. I always wet my sponges before applying my makeup so it gives the full effect of it's wondrous ways! You can use this to apply any type of cream or liquid foundation, concealers, highlighters or even powders.

7th Favourite

Victoria Secret Body Spray in "Love Spell" - Body sprays in general are great for the summer. They're light and fragrant. I feel wearing perfume during the day can feel overpowering and heavy on me. I particularly love the Hollister and Victoria Secret body sprays. A great thing about them is that you can carry it in your purse or schoolbag. I used these constantly when I was in school and it just made me feel more awake and fresh *it got me through those secondary blues*. If you need a pick me up during a long day, body sprays are your baby to call.

8th Favourite

Cat Eye Sunglasses from "C&W" - *can we just appreciate that you can see me in the lenses*. I purchased these sunglasses while I was on holidays in Germany for 11 euro. *CRAZY right?!* I have always adored the cat eye design on glasses but could never find one at a decent price. I particularly love the mix of patterns in the sunglasses, you can see some leopard print and zebra print. Just wonderful. These glasses go with every outfit I wear and they're not too big for my face. The lenses are UV 400 so thats why you can see my reflection in the lenses. For any of my people who have a "C&W" in their town, go and check out their accessories. They are to die for.

9th Favourite

Triangle Necklace (New Look) & Crystal Necklace (ATFashion on Instagram) - I'm not a big  accessories person. I don't wear big statement necklaces or bracelets etc. However I really do love wearing very simple necklaces particularly the ones above. I feel that wearing less is more and it just brings my whole outfit together without being "too much". The triangle necklace I love to wear on nights out. It's such a simple design yet it's enough to wear on it's own without layering more accessories. The crystal necklace is my favourite to wear during the day. I actually won this in a mini giveaway held by "refinedgenes and atfashion" on Instagram. I was very lucky to be picked without a doubt. I love wearing this when I feel that my outfit seems bare. I definitely recommend checking "atfashion" on instagram, she has loads more of these beauties to offer and they're of a really good price!

10th Favourite

Daria (television series) - I never thought I could relate to a cartoon character so much in my life. For those who don't know what Daria is *where have you guys been?*. This was a show on MTV about a sarcastic, sassy girl Daria who is surrounded by the stereotypical "jocks and cheerleaders" and "nerds" and we see how she deals with school life, family and relationships etc.  The show explores a lot of these stereotypes and problems in a humorous way. Some episodes you can even learn a new lesson about life. I just love how laid back and "I don't care" Daria is. She wants to be a nobody yet she finds herself being the centre of attention. It's all just beautiful, this show is a definite binge watch. Nobody could be disappointed with Daria can they? She loves pizza for crying out loud.

Well darlings we have come to the end of my favourites, it's not so razzle dazzle but it's simple and fun *right?* I hope you guys enjoyed this post and stay tuned to my blog in the next week! Hit me up on my social media and tell me what have been your favourites for the month of June!

Hiiiieeeeee darlings! We have come to the final entry of my Berlin adventures *boohoo*. Although I am back in the little island of Dublin, I'll always have the pictures to reminisce on *so close yet so far*. For the final days of our holiday, my family and I decided to take a much more action-filled approach. Soak up all that history and art *know what I mean?*

To start off the day, we went to one of the sites where a concentration camp once stood. *no, it wasn't Aushwitz*. When we arrived to the place it didn't look so large from the front but when you look into the back garden, it's humongous. There were many baffling things to see at the site, the drugs they used on the Jews, Zyklon B and the bread scales that measured the amount of food they could eat. The site was very informative, it also provided booklets that showed the rule books of the armies correct and incorrect ways of treating the Jews. They were quite chilling to look at.

After leaving the site you could imagine how we were all feeling *some really deep feels*. It felt right to visit the memorial site for the victims of the Holocaust. As you can see in the picture, the different stones all represent the victims of the Holocaust. I don't know why they chose that particular design but you are able to walk through the memorial site. As you walk through them, you begin to notice how the stones begin to level at different heights. It would be quite eerie to walk through on your own at night.

Luckily, my mother had found a line to a small museum that they had for the victims of the Holocaust. When entering the museum, it was very quiet. It was chilling, reading the accounts and servings evidence of families and letters that the poor victims had left behind. It really opened my eyes how grotesque their treatment were. I didn't take a lot of pictures here *I believe you can understand why*. Their was one part of the museum that really pulled at my heart strings. A dark room, only lit by lights coming out from the floor, on the floor are final letters of love and worry for their loved ones. *yeah..hardcore feelings*.

At the end of this trip, to lift our spirits we decided to go to Museum Island. This is a history freak's paradise *guess which Asian is one?*. When we arrived there was a BIG expo on Impressionism and Expressionism *the art student in me was hyperventilating*. However in an awful misfortune that part of the island was closed on Mondays *ridiculous*. We were left with the two remaining museums;  "Neues Museum" - this mainly focused on the Stone Age, Bronze Age and the Egyptians. "Pergamonmusuem" - This museum is currently undergoing reconstruction work such as the famous "Market Gate of MIletus". The main factor I loved in both museums is the amazing artwork and attention to detail they display. I was in complete awe browsing through different sections. You have primary sources in front of your eyes. It's very over-whelming and I definitely recommend coming to Musuem Island. Without a doubt.

                    Pergamonmuseum

                   Neues Museum

Well we have come to the end of my Berlin Adventures. I hope you guys enjoyed my travel blog and the taste test  of Berlin. I definitely would recommend going to Berlin for your holidays. It's more than just the Berlin Wall and the Holocaust, it's also filled with amazing artwork, architecture *and fooooood!*
It would only be right to end the blog with some food pictures. If you liked my blog feel free to follow me on my social media for updates on my next blog posts *wink wink*

Hiiiiiieeeeee darlings, I'm back in the little island of Dublin and I'm missing Berlin deeply. After the first couple days of our trip, we were stuck on what to do next for the rest of the week. Berlin is full of amazing and jaw dropping sites. It's hard to choose what you'd like want to do when in every corner you see another piece of history or entertainment. There's only so many hours in a day.
After a typical German breakfast (no, it wasn't just sausages), we decided to go on a boat trip. What I love about Berlin is that the people are so nice and so helpful. Without their help, my family and I would've gone nowhere. We arrived at the place at about 10 am, got on the boat and was offered strawberry champagne *it looked so tasty but not for 10 am in the morning guurrl!*. Before the ride even started I was instantly infatuated by the view. Berlin is honestly so beautiful. From the architecture, art, history and der schöne Männer *wink wink*. To summarise the boat ride, we go through some of the most well known buildings *yes they are all beautiful* and are given a brief history of them and their significance. However, I didn't really listen to the commentary *shame on me* I was more focused on the view and just relaxing, literally having no care in the world. De-stressing from the Leaving Cert blues.

After the boat trip, we still had a lot of time on our hands. Most people recommended that I go to Berlin Zoo but I wasn't really in the mood to go. My brother and I decided that we should go to the Aquarium *it was also recommended by a friend*. Another factor I love about Berlin is how cheap the food and transport are. *For a one day family ticket in Berlin for the bus and train is 16 EURO*. I love a cheap price tag, just saying. The aquarium was great. It had a greater variety of animals and species. It was divided into three parts. The sea animals, reptiles and insects. When looking throughout the whole aquarium, it actually amazed me of the different variety of animals out there. The thought that wouldn't leave my head however was "what if I just broke through this glass?" or "what if I just set them all free?". Animals are mesmerising and the aquarium is  a great place to visit, to pass the time or to even just chill out in. My favourite part of it all was going in through the entrance and there was a little pond filled with koi fish. *You could pet the koi fish guys, how amazing*. Overall the day was well spent. It was more of a relaxing day than the last.

So, here's the end of the blog post my darlings. My last blog post will focus on my final days in Berlin *sadly*. Hope you enjoyed my little bite size of Berlin. Sorry that it has been delayed but I promise, I'll be back on track *wink wink*. It's only right that I end the post with some food porn. Stay tuned darlings!.

J <3.

Look at this stuff, isn't it neat? wouldn't you think my collection's complete?. To some this could be a ridiculous amount of makeup to bring on holidays. However to anyone who knows me personally I love to paint on my face. Most people would bring one lipstick, some mascara and eyeliner. Myself on the other hand feels that it is necessary to bring every lip colour and every damn brush in my collection. My makeup junkies can understand the struggle *can I get an amen?*. Let's get on to the products, shall we?

 Face products

Ben Nye Banana Powder : This little beauty of a powder makes my under-eye look bright and beautiful. You can't tell that I've only had two hours sleep *haha no*. In all seriousness this powder used to be so hyped about. When I first bought it, I honestly had no clue if it was even working but with practice and some Youtube tutorials *by George she's got it!*. Banana powder gives your concealer that extra push to make your face look more brighter and awake. Downside is that this powder isn't for everyone but Ben Nye makes an array of shades of these Luxury Powders for my darker girls and my pale girls. *no person gets left behind*. This powder is an essential to tired travellers who need to fake a fresh face.
Rimmel Stay Matte & MAC Select Cover Up : In my May Favourites you already know why I praise MAC Select Cover Up. A light concealer under a wall of face powder doesn't make my face feel so heavy. However on the foundation side of things, I own a lot of foundation *definitely unnecessary* but as a makeup enthusiast I love trying out different foundations and seeing what works for me and what doesn't. Rimmel Stay Matte was one of these experimental foundations and honestly it is now my essential foundation to travel with. This foundation covers every little imperfection on my face. Blended out with a beauty blender. flawless. This is definitely a foundation for my oily/combination skin people. A little definitely goes a long way with this and it's affordable too, *what more could you want*
Urban Decay Naked Skin Pressed Powder : This isn't pictured above *sorry, I left it in my purse and was lazy to take it out okay?* This powder is finely milled and it feels silky on the face. However I don't powder this on after applying my foundation *you'll see why in a minute* but this powder is great to re-touch your makeup throughout the day. It takes away the shine without applying more pigmentation onto the skin. An essential to the person who spends hours walking around lost in a foreign country and looks frazzled near the end of the day.

Lancome Highlight Powder : I grabbed this little beauty on sale for twenty euro *the day the lord's had graced me* This is my go-to highlight shade when I feel the need to give my tired face an extra boost. When the sun catches your face while you're relaxing in the beach or just relaxing in general. *gurrrrrrrrrl* you will look glowy, beautiful and all the wondrous things in the world. Definitely an essential.
MAC Rocky Horror Picture Show Shape and Sculpt Powder : This is basically my contour and highlight kit. I usually like to go for a deep contour but when I'm on holidays it's better to go subtle. I love the shade of the contour because it's not warm toned. *like most deep shades in a contour powder* This is a great neutral colour that makes your contour look more natural and not like mud.
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish : This is in the shade Medium Deep. I love using this powder to bronze my face. I tend to get darker when I go on holidays and this helps colour match my foundation better when I do. This needs to be used with a light hand, too much can make you look like an orange Cheeto. Bronzed and Luminous is what I try and achieve when I'm on holiday.

Hourglass Ambient Light Blush Palette :  Can we just take a minute to appreciate the presentation of these blushes. The marbled pattern makes this appealing to the eye. I bring this beauty everywhere with me. It has your essential blush shades, a plum, a peachy/pink and a brighter pink. What makes these blushes even better? Is that they're mixed in with subtle highlight shades. Giving you that extra glow. *can you tell I'm obsessed with all that glow?* The amount of powder I'm putting on my face definitely doesn't need to be set with a face powder. Some people may think Oh June you're wearing too much makeup, no need for it. 1. I will wear as much makeup as I like. It makes me feel ready for the day. 2. If I have all this makeup why the hell not would I wear it. *realises she got off topic*

Eye Products
Lancome Hypnose Mascara : I find travel sizes of mascaras you get in gift sets is the perfect opportunity to try out new brands and formulas. This particular mascara has worked like a dream. I have small Asian eyelashes but luckily they don't point down like most people. Firstly I thought that the formula was too thick and clumpy. However this does an amazing job in lifting my lashes and making them look really full *five stars for faux falsies*
Rimmel Glam Eyes Liquid Eyeliner : This baby gives me the precise clean winged line. *just look at that brush* This is a really deep black, it stays on forever and I shall never depart with it. It's cheap too, so I recommend you pick it up *wink wink*
For my eyebrows, you guys already know why I bring my Dip Brow Pomade with me. *if not I suggest you check out my May Favourites*
Urban Decay Pulp Fiction Palette (Limited Edition) : Sorry it's not pictured above but laaaaadiiiieeeees! This eye shadow palette is my holy grail. This palette contains your essential neutral shades. I love wearing a neutral eye when I need to get out of the door really quick. However what I love most about this palette is that it mostly consist of matte shades (perfect for the day time). A great small palette for a great small person *haha noo..*

Well that's all for my post my dears, as for what lip products I use, I carry about 5 different shades of my Jeffree Star Liquid Lipsticks (if you want to find out why I love them, check out my May favourites *wink*). I'll also be posting the rest of my Berlin Adventures once I'm back in Dublin *I swear it'll be worth the wait*.

Byeeeeeeee <3
Were you all impressed by my German there? *yeah, me neither*. Well to those who have read my previous post I am currently in Berlin. It's quite surreal to me that I've been studying German for five years and I'm here. My tip for anyone who's planning to come to Berlin bring comfortable shoes. I've probably walked ten million meters today as the great tourist I am, I love to get lost. I'm currently staying in Charlottenburg and I'm surrounded by supermarkets and restaurants *because food is important to me*. There isn't a great barrier between English and German here but do beware some people do like to answer your English questions in German. Luckily my limited German vocabulary has been helpful on this trip *Danke shön meine Leherin*. What I've gathered on my first day here is that Berlin consists of antique shops, perfume shops, bakeries and art shops. Another tip I'd  like to share is that the U-Bahnstation will be your best friend, for tourists always stop off at the Berlin Zoo as the sightseeing buses always stop there. Before I continuously ramble on in conversation with my blog post I might as well tell you how my first day was.

Schloss Charlottenburg

We came across this castle by complete accident as my family and I were struggling to find the bus stop for the city tour. By the time we were here, it was very early in the morning so we couldn't go in but my God. The architecture of this building is magnificent. This building is said to be the largest existing palace in Berlin. I wish I knew more of the history behind it but I have a week here in Berlin *so you never know*. Berlin in the morning is very peaceful, as we walked along the streets we found a cute store. They had my most favourite snack in the world freshly cut fruit. After finding that tiny store I knew my day would be good.

Once we found our way to the Berlin Zoo ( we took the M45 bus). We hopped on a City Tour bus and that's when the real adventure began. Firstly we passed by some really well known churches, I forgot the name of it but our guide had said that it is still quite damaged from the Second World War. The most amazing part of the tour took me by complete surprise. The Berlin Wall (right). For me personally, it did not feel real that I was standing in front of that piece of history. You see these stories being told on the television and we see it in the movies like "Goodbye Lenin" and it's just in front of you.
When you get off the bus there's a display alongside the wall. Here you can see the different times and years of Germany under Hitler's power. *basically all the things you learn in history class but much more cooler*. You can see pictures of the book burnings in Germany and the prosecuted homosexuals under Hitler's Nuremberg Laws. Also the different propaganda posters that would've been displayed during Hitler's time. I'm a history freak, for me being there and learning more about Germany's history is equivalent to a small child being released in Smyths *hyperventilating all day, everyday*.  There's also a museum here which focused mainly on the Second World War and Hitler's treatment of the Jews, homosexuals, people in his political party, the elderly etc. You can see primary footage of the time and to be honest they're quite hard to watch. One video was Hitler's firing squad shooting the Jews. When seeing actual footage and pictures, the amount of people who became victims under Hitler's rule is baffling.

So as you all can see these pictures are pretty intense. If you would like to know the story behind these pictures don't hesitate to ask in the comments *can't do it all in this blog post because it'll take me about twenty years, ain't nobody got time for that!*. So after our history trip we stopped off at Checkpoint Charlie which gives you more information about the Berlin Wall and the Western Side of the Wall are displayed here. So after our history trip we stopped off at the Alexanderplatz. There lies the Fernsehtrum, *it's like the spinning restaurant in Futurama but not in space, sorry I'm a terrible describer* However I wasn't interested in that but more so the fountain that was there, *can you tell I like my old buildings than my modern ones?*. The fountain is of Neptune and surrounding him are four figures symbolising Germany's four major rivers.
So after Alexanderplatz, we stayed on the City Tour bus for the rest of the tour because by this time our feet were just about to fall off at this point. From the pictures below you can see all the places that Berlin is most known for, The Reichstag, The Brandenburg Gate, The Victory Column and some more well known churches. We were planning to go inside the Reichstag but it was booked out for the whole week. What I've gathered from my day trip in Berlin is that Germans appreciate the art world. For this week there's a Dali and Van Gogh exhibition in the city centre. Germany is definitely the place for someone who loves history, art and architecture.

To end the day we tried one of Germany's most talked about food, the Bratwurst and the Currywurst. In the main city centre you can find a Currywurst stand in every corner. We got ours near the U-Bahnstation near Berlin Zoo. The person who served me *war sehr shön, oh mein Got!*. After having one of these my day was complete. I got to see amazing sights and learn more about Germany's history. Well I have to finish up this blog post, it's already 1:08 am! I'm here for 6 more days so stay tuned for the rest of my blog posts!

 Guten Nacht
